My wife and I came here yesterday. It's a combination of relaxed, chill, and good vibes. The staff was friendly and very helpful. A great place to go if you want to relax on a couch or sit at a table with friends. We are from Chicago and are here for the weekend visiting. Recommend to people in 20s-30s who want a non-college setting.

I've been going to Beta Lounge since they opened back in 2009. I usually go for the beer, and they have a great beer selection there. Their food is also really good, and much better than your standard bar food. One of the things I really like about going here is that it's usually not too loud, and you don't get as many rowdy folks that some of the other bars in the area get since the quality of the alcohol is higher (which does mean that it's a little more expensive). Definitely my favorite watering hole in Berkeley!

Our new favorite spot. Excellent Tuesday happy hour so we have decided to make ourselves regulars. Great atmosphere and cozy with excellent tapas food, cocktail, and wine. Great find!

Cute place, I've heard the food is good but didn't try anything. A nice spot with comfy couches, classy casual, with a dog friendly atmosphere. The staff was sweet, professional, and prompt. Recommend if you need a spot to stop and meet folks. Great music was playing in the background. Nice combo of all of the above and not too crowded.

Beta Lounge came through in the clutch. There's not many places with a chill vibe, good food, excellent drink specials and WiFi that's suitable for a late co-working session. This place is close to the University, and they are out on Summer break so I'm sure that factors into the low-key vibe. Nevertheless, it's a nice neighborhood spot. We will be back!

Great local Berkeley bar! The service is great & drinks are great! Their happy hour is a must! We did the tasting flight of bourbon! We can’t wait to come back!
